Two big events in Sydney and Perth on 31 May

Australian - Bosnian & Herzegovina Cultural Association Inc. in Sydney is actively involved in collection of donations from Bosnians living in NSW and the general public for the Bosnia & Herzegovina Relief Fund. This initiative started on Tuesday 20 May and will last until 31 May and involves a manning of the collection station at the library of the Bosnian Ethnic School within ABHCA Inc. by volunteers from the Bosnian community in Sydney. 

On Saturday, 31 May, all members of AUBHA in NSW are organising a joint fund raising event at the premises of ABHCA Incorporated at 205 Bringelly Road Leppington; starting time 19:30. Every member of the Bosnian Community is urged to support this fundraising event.

Mr Ed Husic, Federal Member for Chifley, is expected to be in attendance together with Honorary Consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina in NSW, Mr Chris May.

On 1 June, all members of AUBHA from NSW will meet again, report on the amount collected and deposit the same in to a designated bank account for distribution to those affected most by the recent floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Perth

On the same date (Saturday 31 May) the Australian Bosnia-Herzegovinian Cultural and Recreational Centre in Perth, Western Australia, is also running a fundraiser for flood victims in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Apart from members of the BH community, the event will be attended by representatives from the state and federal governments: Donna Faragher MLC, Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier; Minister for State Development; and Luke Simpkins MP, Member for Cowan, WA.

The venue is located at Beechboro Road North, Beechboro, Perth and the programme is scheduled to start at 7:30PM.
